PRESIDENT TRUMP TOUTS ‘VIRTUALLY IMPENETRABLE’ BORDER WALL

President Donald Trump campaigned on a promise to build a wall, and he is living up to that promise. He showed the world the incredible progress that has been made at the southern border during a trip to Otay Mesa, California this week.

“It’s an amazing project,” he said pointing to nearby Tijuana, just a few hundred feet to the south. “There are thousands of people over there that had been trying to get in.”

“I think really the success is going to be when the wall’s built, when the human traffickers can’t come through,” Trump said to a group of reporters during his visit. “This is certainly a tremendous national emergency.”

The President boasted that 20 of the world’s greatest mountain climbers tested different wall prototypes, and the one he was standing by was the most difficult to scale.

“This is the one that was hardest to climb,” Trump said. “This wall can’t be climbed.”

He also mentioned how the wall was built to absorb heat, which would provide another impediment to anyone trying to hop over it.

“You can fry an egg on that wall,” Trump said.

Trump also brought up Mexico’s role in curbing immigration enforcement demands. Apprehensions are dropping because Mexico is doing their job keeping the illegals from getting near the U.S. southern border. Trump is pressuring the Mexican government with tariffs to keep them honest.

“If Mexico stopped helping us, that would immediately be on the table … and that would pay for the wall many times over,” Trump said.

Heading into next year’s presidential election, Trump is kicking his immigration crackdown into high gear at the perfect time to remind his passionate supporters why they moved mountains to put the man into office in 2016, and why they should do so yet again in 2020.

CONSERVATIVE PARTY CHAIRMAN GERARD KASSAR MAKES THE MEDIA ROUNDS

New York State Conservative Party (CPNYS) Chairman Gerard Kassar made the media rounds this week, talking on state-wide and national broadcasts about the necessity of fighting for conservative values outside of the corrupt two-party system.

Kassar began a busy media junket on Wednesday with an appearance on the “Joe Piscopo Show” on AM 970 before appearing on “Liquid Lunch” with John Tabacco on NewsmaxTV to talk about how the CPNYS represents the values of the average New Yorker.

“They work against what the average individual in New York state has an interest in,” Kassar said of the liberal elites that dominate New York politics. “We believe we’re part of a not-so-silent majority. We’re kind of loud about it. We have hundreds of thousands of voters on our line, but we represent more of a philosophical movement.”

“We really want government off our backs, and we want to live our lives as we see fit with some money in our pockets to spend on what we want to spend it on,” Kassar said to summarize the view of the CPNYS.

Kassar mentioned that he thinks Sen. Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren of Massachusetts will ultimately be the Democratic presidential challenger against Donald Trump in 2020 and commented about attitudes that are building against law enforcement to finish the interview.

“There are more bad eggs coming out of our education system … due to very liberal teachers or college professors that just show no interest in expressing what the value is in having an orderly society that law enforcement represents,” Kassar explained.

That same evening, Kassar made an appearance on “Cats at Night” with John Catsimatidis where a group discussion took place about the nature of New York politics and the challenges facing conservatives operating in what has become a solidly blue state.

“The progressives operate within the Democratic Party. The Conservative Party does not operate within the Republican Party, so there is kind of a different way of looking at it. We are a true multiple of what the Republican Party candidate gets if we endorse a Republican,” Kassar said, defending the necessity of the conservative role.

Kassar also published on op/ed in the Times Union defending fusion voting against Democrats who have set up a phony commission to attack third-party political efforts that are a thorn in their side.

“The stakes before the public are enormous. Free speech and the free exchange of ideas would be severely curtailed in New York if Cuomo’s commission isn’t stopped. The Democratic Party machine is working to de-democratize New York for its and Cuomo’s advantage, and it’s doing it while the Legislature is out of session. Alarm bells should be ringing all across the state,” Kassar wrote.

Kassar is keeping the CPNYS relevant in the media landscape as Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s alienates New Yorkers with his tax-and-spend insanity.

ANDREW CUOMO FORCED TO CAVE ON MANDATORY LICENSE PLATE REPLACEMENT

Gov. Andrew Cuomo has shown a relentless desire to squeeze New York taxpayers dry, but he has found out that his power has its limits. He was forced to abandon his scheme this week to force the replacement of license plates that are at least 10 years old following widespread bipartisan resistance.

Cuomo wanted New Yorkers to pay $25 for replacement plates and another $20 to keep their original plate number, regardless of the condition of the plate if it was more than 10 years old. A Siena College Research Institute poll showed that the move was highly unpopular, and Cuomo was forced to drop the proposal.

Previously, Cuomo’s administration had shown they were backtracking on the issue. State DMV Commissioner Mark Schroeder made that clear in a statement from August.

“If the Legislature can agree to a cost effective and practical plate inspection mechanism to determine what plates are still in good operating condition after the 10-year life and thus do not need to be replaced we would welcome the opportunity to be cooperative,” Schroeder said in the statement.

Cuomo’s spokesman made the news official this week that the Governor would be capitulating on this issue.

“As the DMV commissioner said weeks ago, this proposal isn’t going forward as we have committed to working with the Legislature to create a plan that ensures plates are readable by law enforcement and cashless tolling systems and creates a process where plates older than 10 years are inspected and, if still readable, can be kept,” Cuomo spokesman Richard Azzopardi said in a statement.

Although the people have won this battle, the war is never over. Cuomo never stops devising ways to cheat New Yorkers out of their hard-earned money. We must stay ever vigilant to keep this aggressive nanny stater at bay.

The United States Constitution, the brilliant work of our Founding Fathers, was ratified on September 17, 1787 after a long hard-fought battle.  The US Constitution created a government that is the envy of the world; people have emigrated to America since its inception and 232 years after establishing a country run by “we the people” people are still searching for the American Dream crossing our borders with and without permission.  Unfortunately, many who are choosing to break the rules seeking all that our US Constitution offers her citizens are threating the very essence of America’s hope for all humanity.

The United States of America has always welcomed immigrants and we still do, but, the immigrants we welcome should respect the US Constitution and understand that abiding by the rule of law has been the foundation that has made America, in her very short history, the country that has raised the standard of living in every aspect of life, in every corner of this magnificent planet.

Socialism had absolutely nothing to do with creating the hope that America dispenses around the world; and socialism, if adopted by American voters, because they have become unwilling to work for the American Dream and want government to provide it to them, our US Constitution will be shredded by the very people who claim they will make America a utopia where health care is free, education is free, guns are confiscated and dissent is verboten (think of today’s college campuses .)

Celebrate our US Constitution today and every day and work hard to make certain America and the people who choose to live here, abide by the brilliance of our Founding Fathers.

NEVER FORGET: THE 18TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE SEPTEMBER 11TH ATTACKS

This week marked the 18th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, as the nation remembers the day that changed the course of the world forever.

A ceremony was held in Lower Manhattan where people came to pay their respects for the nearly 3,000 men, women and children who lost their lives at the World Trade Center, Pentagon, and United Airways Flight 93. They had six different moments of silence for the victims of the worst attack in American history.

Dignitaries from New York, including America’s Mayor Rudy Giuliani, were in attendance for the display. Those close to the victims gave their heartfelt testimony.

“We’re expecting our first grand. So many milestones that he’s missed. Please excuse me if I stumble over any of the names. All respect to our loved ones. This one is kind of hard,” said Lashawn Clarke, who lost her beloved husband Benjamin, a corporate chef who worked in the south tower.

“This year, I did a lot crying. I did. Even though it’s 18 years… can’t stop crying. He was 28. Just went to work,” said Marcia Cohen, whose son Kevin worked for Cantor Fitzgerald and perished in the attacks.

“My brother-in-law, firefighter John Chipura, who exemplified bravery and a strong sense of duty,” said Elizabeth Ronan. “He would be overjoyed that his sister Nancy escaped the north tower. And proud that his brother Gerard, the captain standing behind me, has dedicated his life and career to helping FDNY families in their grief.

Sadly, the first responders are still suffering, as two-thirds of them now suffer from serious health problems. The Victims Compensation Fund is now paid for through 2092 because of recent Congressional action, but they still have to deal with the trauma from that day for the rest of their lives.

“We’re at 204 in just the FDNY alone, and the NYPD’s at 241. So, I mean, the number of first responders that have died post-9/11 is greater,” said Bobby Eustace, who represents the Uniformed Firefighters Association.

The people of America have vowed to never forget, but that doesn’t necessarily apply to the fake news. The New York Times posted an incomprehensible tweet blaming “airplanes” for what happened on that horrible day over 18 years ago.

“18 years have passed since airplanes took aim and brought down the World Trade Center. Today, families will once again gather and grieve at the site where more than 2000 people died,” the Times’ verified Twitter account wrote on the social media site, attempting to re-write history to absolve the Islamic terrorists responsible.

They were eventually forced to delete that tweet following widespread outrage. Real New Yorkers will always remember the need to stay vigilant about the Islamic threat, which is represented in Congress by extremist lawmakers like Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), to make sure another day like this never takes place.

CARL ICAHN ABANDONS NEW YORK, MOVES TO MIAMI

Billionaire investor Carl Icahn is abandoning New York, avoiding the climate of regulatory assault from Gov. Andrew Cuomo, and bolting to Miami, effective next year. He says his employees can join him, or be let go without receiving any severance.

However, Ichan isn’t completely heartless. He is rewarding employees who follow him by assuring them their pay will remain the same and even sweetening the pot with a “relocation benefit” of $50,000 after they move their permanent residence to Florida. They will also be given an “immediate payment” of their annual salary if they are terminated following the big move.

“My employees have always been very important to the company, so I’d like to invite you all to join me in Miami,” Ichan wrote in a letter from May, which was obtained by the New York Post.

If one of his employees opposes the move and stays in New York, Icahn welcomes them to enjoy unemployment benefits because they won’t be getting a dime from him.

“The Company will not contest your unemployment claim,” Icahn’s memo states. “The current maximum weekly Unemployment benefit rate is $450, which you can receive for a total of 26 weeks.”

Icahn says he will miss New York, but had to make the move.

“After spending my entire career in New York, while I certainly do not wish to retire, I’ve decided that at this point in my life I’d like to enjoy a warmer climate and a more casual pace year-round,” he wrote.

Since President Trump’s Tax Cuts and Jobs Act went into effect, rich New Yorkers have been bolting to Florida in record numbers. With the Republican governor in office down there, wealth can be adequately protected. That is not so much the case under Gov. Cuomo, who dooms the future of New York with his socialist central planning scheme.

THE SUICIDE EPIDEMIC OF NEW YORK CITY POLICE OFFICERS MUST BE ADDRESSED

 New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio has allowed a culture of hatred and distrust toward law enforcement to fester.  Many believe that the suicide epidemic among law enforcement personnel is another unintended consequence of de Blasio’s failed leadership.

Former Mayor Rudy Guiliani, who once cleaned up the town during his incredibly successful years in power, says he is watching it go “full circle” because of de Blasio, and it is heartbreaking watching his beloved city regress back to what it used to be in the 1970s and 80s.

“People take this job to help people and if it’s not appreciated it can have a long-term effect on people,” Guiliani said, adding that the “total disrespect for law and order we have today” is unprecedented.

“Now we don’t have the backing of the politicians. Right this second I have a funny feeling we’re repeating history,” Guiliani added.

“If someone throws water on a cop, that’s an attack on society. If he can do that to a cop, what will he do to you?” he asked.

Police Benevolent Association boss Patrick J. Lynch also blames de Blasio for a “cop-hating” environment that has sprung up as shootings rise, degeneracy spreads like a plague, and “non-violent crimes” such as vandalism, harassment, turnstile-hopping, and drug-dealing are unprosecuted.

New York City cops are now committing suicide at two to three times the rate of normal citizenry. There have already been eight suicides amongst law enforcement this year, as this year may end up defeating the all-time record of 12 suicides in 1994.

“How many people are going to end up dead before something changes?” asked Sergeants Benevolent Association President Ed Mullins.

Unfortunately for New York City, de Blasio is stuck in his ways. This far-left true believer will never turn his back on liberalism while he serves as Mayor, no matter what the human cost may be.

Kudos to Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato, D-Queens  who sponsored, passed and the had the Governor sign legislation that adds 9/11 to the list of holidays to be commemorated in schools and allows public schools in New York every 9/11 to memorialize the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.  It has been 18 years, since that horrific day etched its graphic images of people desperately trying to survive while police and firefighters ran toward the burning Twin Towers; 18 years that far too many families have only memories of their loved ones; 18 years that still haven’t healed our broken hearts and 18 years that we have resolved to never let America be vulnerable again.  America will never forget that Tuesday morning which began with clear blue skies and hardly a cloud to be found and ended with, flames, concrete dust, twisted steel, and bodies of our family, friends and neighbors amongst the rubble of two towers that were the iconic symbol of lower Manhattan’s skyline.  America was one nation 18 years ago; we must rekindle, remember and respect that we are still that same one nation before our enemy’s believe what they see as our discord is a weakness they can and will exploit.

FORMER STATE SENATOR WILLIAM LARKIN DEAD AT 91

Former Republican Sen. William J. Larkin Jr., a conservative champion in the state legislature for 40 years, died this week at the age or 91.

Larkin heroically served his country in World War II and the Korean War before starting his life in government. He was elected to the New York Assembly in 1978, before gaining election to the Senate in 1990, a post he held until his retirement last year.

“America and the state of New York have lost a dedicated public servant, soldier and statesman. Our family lost a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and so much more,” his family said in a statement released on Sunday.

In an age of extreme partisanship, Larkin earned great respect from his colleagues in both political parties. He helped to protect fellow Republican Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. during the civil rights hero’s march from Selma to Montgomery, AL in 1973.

“Senator Larkin led by example every day of his life and was an inspiration to me and countless others who wanted nothing more than to serve the people of this great state and nation,” Gov. Andrew Cuomo said in a statement on Sunday.

He is survived by a large family including his wife, their eight children, 17 grandkids, and two great-grandkids.

I have known Bill on a personal level for over 35 years.  In all that time, never once did he waiver from his commitment to our nation, our state, on conservative principles or his devotion to his family.  Sen. William J. Larkin, Jr. will be sorely missed by all.

HONG KONG FORCED TO RESCIND EXTRADITION BILL AFTER MASSIVE PROTESTS

The people of Hong Kong have shown the imperial communist Chinese who’s boss, after months of massive protests have finally caused a reviled extradition bill to be rescinded by Hong Kong authorities.

Hong Kong leader Carrie Lam made the decision this week, and claims that Beijing is in her corner as the communists retreat as the people stand en masse for freedom.

“Throughout the whole process the [Chinese] Central People’s Government took the position that they understood why we had to do it, they respected my view and supported me all the way,” Lam said.

The controversial legislation was proposed in April to make it easier to deport suspected criminals back to China, where they would be subject to a hellish tyranny in which they would not necessarily receive due process and other basic rights.

However, the protesters are not satisfied after this victory. They are still angered with the Hong Kong regime based on human rights violations during the demonstrations.

“Too little and too late now — Carrie Lam’s response comes after 7 lives sacrificed, more than 1,200 protestors arrested, in which many are mistreated in police station,” protest leader Joshua Wong wrote in a Tweet.

“HK people are well-aware of her notorious track record. Whenever there are signs of sending a palm branch, they always come with a far tighter grip on exercising civil rights,” he added.

Wong contends that protesters will not be happy until prosecutions of protesters are ended, police are investigated, demonstrators are legitimized, and fair elections are called.

SOCIALIST BERNIE SANDERS CALLS FOR POPULATION CONTROL

On Wednesday, Democratic presidential candidates tried to out-left each other during a seven-hour marathon town hall on CNN regarding global warming.

Sen. Bernie Sanders, the independent socialist from Vermont, took the cake in terms of unmitigated gall when he advocated massive population control in the third-world as a solution of sorts for the problem of climate change.

“The Mexico City agreement, which denies American aid to those organizations around the world that allow women to have abortions or even get involved in birth control, to me is totally absurd,” Sanders explained.

“I think especially in poor countries around the world where women do not necessarily want to have large numbers of babies and where they can have the opportunity through birth control to control the number of kids they have, it’s something I very, very strongly support,” he added.

Other low-lights from the night’s town hall include Sen. Kamala Harris of California vowing to destroy the filibuster to stop any dissent against her environmental plans, former Vice President Joe Biden’s eye rupturing in the middle of an incoherent rant, and homosexual South Bend, IN Mayor Pete Buttigieg claiming the climate crisis is at least as serious as World War II.

Unelected members of a created commission are preparing to spend $100M on public financing to help fund candidates’ campaigns according to an article by Michael Gromley in yesterday’s Newsday.  Mike Gormley writes that it is almost a foregone conclusion that this will definitely be sanctioned by the commission members and that the elected officials – charged with making these decisions – will abdicate their responsibility and not challenge the Commission’s  decision.  The Conservative Party strongly disagrees with the legislative intent of the Commission and has filed a lawsuit in the NYS Supreme Court; only duly elected members of the legislature – not those appointed by elected officials – have the responsibility to write the laws that govern New York’s citizens.  Read the article to understand just how far Jay Jacobs plans to go with public financing and while he is euphoric about using your money to pay for campaigns, he will be absolutely gleeful if he can end fusion voting at the same time.

Then there is today’s NY Post editorial:  Why judges will end up writing New York’s new campaign laws.  The editorial states in part that “the larger problem, though, is the whole gimmick of the people’s elected representatives passing the business of writing new election and campaign law off to a bunch of appointees.”  The NY Post editorial ends with this “The whole thing is making a farce of representative government.”   To this the Conservative Party says:  how true, the men and women who what to use your tax dollars (so much easier than reaching out to you for your financial support) to get elected are willing to appoint a commission to make the decision they are elected to make so they can say, “I didn’t vote to do that.”

GOVERNOR CUOMO’S LICENSE PLATE FEE ENRAGES NEW YORKERS

Governor Andrew Cuomo is trying to shift blame after a license plate fee proposed by his administration is angering New Yorkers who feel they are taxed enough already.  However, the Cuomo administration could just lower the rates on their own accord, but will instead force more costs to the taxpayer for a special legislative session as they refuse to stop this outrage.

“The fact is the Legislature set the $25 fee 10 years ago, before I was governor,” Cuomo told WAMC News on Thursday morning.

However, that is a misrepresentation. The rules set in 2009 set a maximum fee of $25 for license plate replacement. Cuomo is trying to pull the wool over the eyes of the public and deflect from the bipartisan rage that his fee increase has caused.

Those with 10-year-old plates will be impacted by the proposed fee increase under the Cuomo administration that is always looking for sneaky ways to bleed New York citizens further.

State DMV Commissioner Mark Schroeder claims that a special session may be called to order to reduce the fees.

“Some legislators have now expressed an interest in lowering the fee. The governor would like to lower the fee,” Schroeder said, deflecting the blame from the Cuomo administration.

“If the legislators are sincere and want to lower the fee immediately, although they haven’t in the past decade, the governor has made clear he invites them back for a special session to do it,” he added.

 LYIN’ JAMES COMEY DESTROYS FBI’S CREDIBILITY WITH WRONGDOING

The Inspector General’s report on former FBI Director James Comey was released yesterday, and its contents were damning toward the disgraced deep state former director.

“By not safeguarding sensitive information obtained during the course of his FBI employment, and by using it to create public pressure for official action, Comey set a dangerous example for the over 35,000 current FBI employees — and the many thousands more former FBI employees — who similarly have access to or knowledge of non-public information,” the report said.

President Donald Trump took to Twitter to gloat regarding the findings, as Comey has been one of Trump’s most dogged critics since he fired him.

Trump wrote: “Perhaps never in the history of our Country has someone been more thoroughly disgraced and excoriated than James Comey in the just released Inspector General’s Report. He should be ashamed of himself!”

Although Comey was found to be culpable for wrongdoing and unethical behavior, the Department of Justice still declined to prosecute him. Comey actually had the audacity to demand an apology and claim vindication on Twitter following the findings.

“I don’t need a public apology from those who defamed me, but a quick message with a ‘sorry we lied about you’ would be nice,” Comey wrote on Twitter.

He added: “And to all those who’ve spent two years talking about me ‘going to jail’ or being a ‘liar and a leaker’ — ask yourselves why you still trust people who gave you bad info for so long, including the president.”

While Comey may feel like he escaped justice, the investigation into the origins of the fake Russian conspiracy is still ongoing, and Comey may find himself indicted in the future for his grossly immoral behavior as FBI Director.

POLICE UNION GIVES ‘NO CONFIDENCE’ VOTE TO DE BLASIO

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio has refused to support law enforcement since the far-left ideologue came into office, and now the cops are pushing back against the leader who doesn’t have their back.

The New York City Police Benevolent Association, the union for New York City cops, is calling for Governor Andrew Cuomo to remove de Blasio from office, and demanding the immediate resignation of NYPD Commissioner James O’Neill. Resolutions of “no confidence” were approved against both men at the PBA’s 125th Annual Convention in Albany on Wednesday.

“Today’s votes are an unequivocal indictment of our failed leaders in City Hall and 1 Police Plaza. For years, Mayor de Blasio has demonized police officers and undermined our efforts to protect our city. For years, Commissioner O’Neill has cravenly acquiesced to the Mayor and his anti-cop allies,” PBA President Pat Lynch said in a statement.

In typical fashion, de Blasio has refused to admit any wrongdoing, and defended his policies that have made a mockery of law enforcement throughout his city.

“We won’t stand for it,” a spokesperson for de Blasio said. “Under this mayor and Police Commissioner, our officers and the communities they serve are closer than ever and the city is the safest it’s ever been. That isn’t changing.”

The egomaniacal De Blasio will doggedly continue with his liberal, anti-cop policies regardless of feedback from law enforcement and his constituents until the day comes when he is forced out of office.
