Hochul Open to Decriminalizing Sex Work

 “It is absolutely something I’ve thought about and I’m considering,” those are the words of Governor Kathy Hochul when discussing legalizing sex work in New York State. “I’m discussing it with many advocates and people who have strong opinions on this.”

Decriminalizing sex work will create havoc in urban communities and cause more stress that our communities simply can not afford. In a climate in which criminals are walking free due to cash bail reform, this new progressive agenda item can only further erode our society.

In the New York State Senate two bills have been introduced, one that would completely decriminalize sex work and the other would still make it illegal to pay for sex from.

 Tenney Introduces Bill to Stop Government Mandates

Congressmembers Claudia Tenney sand Jim Banks, Chairman of the Republican Study Committee, introduced the Health Freedom For All Act on Wednesday to prevent the Biden Administration from enacting vaccine mandates on the American people. The bill would clarify that under existing law the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) does not have the authority to implement rules requiring Americans to undergo COVID-19 vaccinations or testing.

President Biden announced that he would impose a mandatory vaccine requirement on US businesses employing more than 100 workers or require weekly testing for those who remain unvaccinated. This decision is in contrast of previous assurances made by President Biden that he would not impose such mandates on American’s, instead prioritize voluntary vaccination efforts.

New York began firing individuals working in the medical field or education system if they are  not in compliance with the state’s mandatory vaccination requirement on Tuesday which immediately led to urgent cares in Albany being closed due to lack of healthcare workers available.

Nurses were yesterday’s hero’s and today’s villains. They deserve better and our citizens deserve their individual liberties.

State Chairman Jerry Kassar reacted was: “There is nothing to study here,” Kassar said. “It’s an awful idea. It will create havoc in urban areas and stress throughout the state. You cannot decriminalize sex workers and not have a negative outcome.”

Four members of the New York Congressional delegation demanded the immediate release of inmates and the permanent closure of New York City’s Rikers Island jail in a move that even Bill de Blasio found asinine.

Democratic Socialists Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Jerry Nadler, Jamaal Bowman and Nydia Velázquez called conditions at the jail “deplorable and nothing short of a humanitarian crisis,” in a letter penned to New York Gov. Kathy Hochul and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio on Tuesday.

Amid a rise in crime, almost across the board since 2020, New York City democrats believe the best course of action is to release criminals back into the streets. This new demand is amongst the most incomprehensible thing to ever come out of the mouth of these four members of Congress, and that is saying something.

Democrats will not rest until they have turned New York into a failed state. Voters should take notice of who wishes harm upon them and their loved ones.

Southern Border Worsens

The Biden Administration’s failure to control the influx of illegal immigrants, not only from South American countries, but even Haiti constitutes a real crisis not only for America but also for the men, women, and children attempting to illegally gain entry.

President Biden inherited a secure border with a plan from President Trump and in 8 short months has turned it into one of the biggest humanitarian crises our country has seen in decades.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki insists the borders aren’t open, and it’s a shame she and the White House continue to outright lie to fellow Americans.

Adding insult to injury, these migrants are only being tested for COVID-19 if they show symptoms; certainly, a leading cause of expanding cases throughout the United States.

The Biden Administration has no plan, except to under report or flat out lie regarding the dire situation at our Southern Border which is turning into more of an evasion as the days go by.

 Mandate for Healthcare Workers Receives Pushback

Hospitals and nursing homes in New York are facing the possibility that a statewide COVID-19 vaccine mandate for health workers could lead to staff shortages when it takes effect Monday.

On Wednesday, Governor Hochul was met by protestors who pushed back on the vaccine mandate for health care workers who were yesterday’s heroes, but are today’s villains.

Not every health care worker interacts with patients every day, or in many cases ever. This mandate is another form of control forced upon us by a tyrannical government who won’t rest until they control every aspect of our lives.

Every day I am thankful for our health care workers, as we all should be. While I am fully vaccinated and a supporter of the vaccination, I support individual freedoms and rights above mandates.

Reapportionment Maps Released

Initial maps were released Wednesday afternoon for congress and the state legislature by the supposed independent commission and as we quickly learned, nothing was independent about the process. The end result was two maps, a democratic version and a GOP version.  The GOP version reflected provisions of the New York State constitution and jurisprudence over the past decade.  The democratic version had the fingerprints of New York and National Democrats all over it.

National and State Democrats are aware their chances of retaining the majority in DC at the ballot box are unlikely, so they implemented a New York power grab in an attempt to cling on to power in Washington, DC.

The GOP had been working with the democrats to produce fair lines, but those communications broke down late last week after outside democratic forces intervened to make the entire process political. The bottom line is that the democratic maps were egregiously drawn in such a manner that they violate the spirit of the State Constitution’s reapportionment provision, if not the law outright.

The Conservative Party will be working with its allies in the GOP to produce fair, more representative legislative lines.

NYC Council Bill Puts Tenants at Risk

The Conservative Party organizations representing the five counties of New York City stand strongly against City Council Intro. 2047 which would prohibit landlords from conducting criminal background checks on residential tenants, including those in co-operatives and condominiums.

Intro. 2047 is a typical progressive agenda item that gives zero thought to the resulting consequences to landlords and tenants alike.

“With crime already on the rise, this proposal only further endangers the safety and security of our communities,” said Kings County Chairwoman Frances T. Vella-Marrone.

Tenants should expect landlords to have done their due diligence in providing a safe environment. And property owners have the right to all background information both financially and criminally when making decisions concerning potential tenants.

The City Council continues to invent new ways to prioritize everyone except the law abiding residents of New York City. This is another recipe for disaster.  Read the press release here.

 General Milley Accused of Secret Calls with China

 In a bombshell revelation General Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff, is accused of holding two secret phone calls with top Chinese military officials while serving under Commander-In-Chief Donald Trump.

According to the Washington Post’s Bob Woodward and Robert Costa, General Milley went as far as to promise to tip off Beijing if the United States was planning an attack. If these accusations are true, Milley must resign or be fired immediately with treason charges to follow.

Woodward and Costa didn’t stop there as they go on to say General Milley ordered senior military officials not to take any orders from President Trump unless he approved them first.

These are accusations not becoming of a top military official and the Biden administration should take the accusations serious as they could have major national security implications.

For weeks since the beginning of the Afghanistan debacle, I have been calling for General Milley, SECDEF Austin and Secretary of State Blinken to resign over the lies they have delivered to the people, the American citizens they left behind, and overseeing the biggest foreign policy failure this nation has seen in more than a decade.

White House chief of staff tells Wall Street titans $3.5 trillion spending plan will ‘cost zero’.  Ron Klain must really think the Wall Street titans and the rest of America live in his make-believe world that increasing taxes will “cost zero.”  Klain said “We have found a way to pay for every part of the spending with taxes.”  ”The proposal unveiled by House Democrats on Monday looks to hike taxes substantially (emphasis added) including raising the corporate tax rate from 21 percent to 26.5 percent, hiking the capital gains tax rate from 20 percent to 25 percent, and increasing the top individual income tax rate rate from 37 percent to 39.6 percent.   But according the Mr. Klain, the spending plan will cost zero.  Another Biden Administration person who lives in Never-Never Land.
