Statement from New York State Conservative Party Chairman Gerard Kassar on Arrest of Lt. Governor Benjamin
Brooklyn, NY – “Here we go again. Another day, another senior New York Democrat arrested for alleged corruption, this time Lt. Governor Brian Benjamin. It’s enough to make New York taxpayers scream.
“Mr. Benjamin’s arrest says everything one needs to know about Albany under the Hochul Administration. Governor Hochul knew Mr. Benjamin was viewed as shady — everyone in Albany knew that — and still she made him her right-hand-man in government. It’s as though hints of corruption meant nothing to her.
“New Yorkers are sick of the chaos that Democrats have inflicted on this state. Crime, corruption, taxes, and wokeism have turned New York into a national punchline. Only a new governor can turn this state around. The current one is but another charter member of the Albany Swamp.”
I am pleased to announce that due to the hard work of our Party Chairmen, and hundreds of volunteers, the Conservative Party has filed nominating petitions in every corner of the state.
This guarantees that when you turn out to vote you will find a qualified candidate representing your values running for Congress, State Senate, Assembly and other local offices. DeSANTIS ONE, DISNEY ZERO
Every time I hear criticism of the Governor and State Legislature of Florida over the prohibition
against teaching young children about sexual orientation, I just want to shout, “What is wrong with them?”
Florida got it right. This is an inappropriate curriculum for young children to say the least. The Disney wonks who thought they could advocate their political agenda free of push back were very much wrong. Though much of the criticism seems to be coming from the top of the Disney hierarchy as many every day employees have come out to say the company does not speak for them and their values as parents.
Disney World has received enormous benefits from the citizens of Florida including semi-autonomous status for the park. I would think abiding by this statute without the many threats to the state and its citizens that have emanated from the entertainment giant would be appropriate.
As far as NYC Mayor Adams conducting an advertising campaign of many millions of dollars to urge the LBGTQ community to leave Florida and move to NYC, I would recommend that if he really cared about making people want to return to NYC he use the money to hire more police, not further stimulate the Florida economy.
OBAMA RETURNS
Let us not forget that President Obama’s return to the White House was to celebrate the anniversary of one of the worst pieces of legislation in the past fifty years – Obamacare.
If it was not for the gutting of the original program by the courts and the Trump Administration, Obamacare would have destroyed healthcare and the economy.
On another note about the same event, despite my general negative view of all that is Biden, I felt bad for him as his Vice President and those in attendance literally ignored his presence to fawn over Obama. Joe Biden looked weak as his presence was dismissed and overshadowed by a man who has not held public office in nearly six years. Clearly, even mainstream Democrats don’t want to hitch their wagon to the Biden administration.

Statement from New York State Conservative Party Chairman Gerard Kassar on New York State Budget
Brooklyn, NY – “Kathy Hochul’s monstrosity of a budget will ensure that New York remains the highest taxed state in the union. By using one-shot federal revenues to fund growth in state operations, New Yorkers will be perennially on the hook for the Democrat’s exorbitant spending, which will now exceed $220 billion — about the size of Florida’s and Texas’s combined budgets, states with greater populations than New York.
“The Governor also failed to achieve real changes to the ill-advised bail reform laws that have spurred a statewide crime wave. Judges must be able to consider potential criminality at sentencing. Anything less than is worthless window dressing.
“Governor Hochul pretended to be a moderate. This budget proves she is anything but. New Yorkers needed tax relief and got a Titanic budget boondoggle instead. Thankfully it’s an election year.”
DOJ Warns State AGs Not to Block Access to Gender Affirming Care, This, as far as I am concerned is overstepping their (DOJ) authority…if the person is of legal age, ok, however, if the person is under the legal age to sign contracts, get married, buy alcohol or cigarettes, get a tattoo or piercing, or a a myriad of other things, then the parents are the only ones who have a say what their child does to their body; NOT THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE. Far too many of our youth are confused about this — the indoctrination begins as a very early age — and any life altering changes made when a person isn’t old enough to truly understand what the long term results will be is the responsibility of their parents.
Yesterday, a New York Supreme Court Judge ruled new district lines for Congress, State Senate and the Assembly created by the highly partisan Democratic leadership of the New York Legislature and signed into law by Governor Kathy Hochul, are in violation of the New York State Constitution. He ordered new bi-partisan maps to be submitted no later than April 11th. Of course, the Democratic leadership of the Legislature appealed. A stay has been issued as the case makes its way to the 4th Department in Rochester.
We are very pleased with this well-written, thoughtful decision which at its heart says that the reapportionment process overseen by the Democrats in the Legislature was tainted from its earliest stages.
Additionally, countless editorial boards and interested organizations have favorably commented on Judge McAllister’s decision.

Government certainly can play an important role in supporting its home teams, but $850 million in taxpayer dollars to construct a new stadium for the Buffalo Bills is not a proper use of state funds.
There has been a great deal of talk that these types of expenditures have become common
around the nation, that should not be the case. In fact, they should not be happening at all. Not only is this deal not beneficial to New Yorker’s, it far exceeds what other localities have given to other teams.
While we wish the Bills another exceptional season, we believe its billionaire primary owner should not become wealthier as a result of enormous injections of taxpayer cash.
Joe Biden’s Gaffs Continue
Either President Biden had some great strategy in mind when he spoke of regime changes in Russia or it just goes down as another one of his countless unhinged gaffs. In this case, I am going to go with another, albeit, very dangerous gaff.
Ironically, I totally agree that regime change is necessary in Russia. I also feel strongly that Putin
should be tried for war crimes even if it needs to be in absentia. The problem for the world is that Joe Biden is not like everybody. Whether he was telegraphing a time line for US Troop withdrawals from Afghanistan or commenting on the leadership and government of Russia, he needs to recognize that as President his words can have incredible consequences.
I hope one day our “friends” in the mainstream media will hold him accountable, though I won’t hold my breath. We must continue to report, in good faith, what we see and hear ourselves as it is clear the media will continue to shill on behalf of this administration.

Statement from New York State Conservative Party Chairman Gerard Kassar
Brooklyn, NY – “The Democratic Party got caught today being undemocratic. Its attempt to rig elections and to shut down political dissent in New York through outrageous gerrymandering was fortunately thwarted in New York State Supreme Court.
“Just a glance at these lines revealed them as ridiculously tainted. Now the Democrats must go back to the drawing board and have new lines ready in less than two weeks. We applaud the court’s decision, and urge them to keep an eye on every pencil line the Democrats draw over the next 11 days. They are not to be trusted.”
Under Gov. Hochul’s “less is more” 8,000 people on parole to be released by the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision by the end of this month.
