“Government’s view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it”-Ronald Reagan
DOJ Warns State AGs Not to Block Access to Gender Affirming Care, This, as far as I am concerned is overstepping their (DOJ) authority…if the person is of legal age, ok, however, if the person is under the legal age to sign contracts, get married, buy alcohol or cigarettes, get a tattoo or piercing, or a a myriad of other things, then the parents are the only ones who have a say what their child does to their body; NOT THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE. Far too many of our youth are confused about this — the indoctrination begins as a very early age — and any life altering changes made when a person isn’t old enough to truly understand what the long term results will be is the responsibility of their parents.
Yesterday, a New York Supreme Court Judge ruled new district lines for Congress, State Senate and the Assembly created by the highly partisan Democratic leadership of the New York Legislature and signed into law by Governor Kathy Hochul, are in violation of the New York State Constitution. He ordered new bi-partisan maps to be submitted no later than April 11th. Of course, the Democratic leadership of the Legislature appealed. A stay has been issued as the case makes its way to the 4th Department in Rochester.
We are very pleased with this well-written, thoughtful decision which at its heart says that the reapportionment process overseen by the Democrats in the Legislature was tainted from its earliest stages.
Additionally, countless editorial boards and interested organizations have favorably commented on Judge McAllister’s decision.

Joe Pinion for United States Senate
Joe Pinion is an advocate, entrepreneur, and political news commentator. Throughout his life, Joe has witnessed both the power of opportunity and the pernicious impact of government driven neglect.
From the faces within his own family to the stories he has helped explore from behind a news desk, Joe personally understands the realities confronting the everyday people that call New York home.
Joe, born and raised in Yonkers, NY by his mother and grandmother, graduated from Horace Mann High School. A standout student-athlete, he was recruited to play football at Colgate University, where he was a 2 year varsity letter winner and a member of the 2003 team that finished 15-1 and played in the I-AA National Championship.
In that same time, and much more, Chuck Schumer has been a career politician. A career that spans nearly 50 years, Schumer knows nothing except tax-payer funded paychecks. He does, however, have an ownership stake in New York—particularly in the states decline.
Known for Sunday press conferences and bragging about visiting all 62 counties annually, he is short on accomplishments. New York is ready for change. Chuck Schumer’s vision for New York is stale. Joe Pinion is our vehicle for change.
Government certainly can play an important role in supporting its home teams, but $850 million in taxpayer dollars to construct a new stadium for the Buffalo Bills is not a proper use of state funds.
There has been a great deal of talk that these types of expenditures have become common
around the nation, that should not be the case. In fact, they should not be happening at all. Not only is this deal not beneficial to New Yorker’s, it far exceeds what other localities have given to other teams.
While we wish the Bills another exceptional season, we believe its billionaire primary owner should not become wealthier as a result of enormous injections of taxpayer cash.
Joe Biden’s Gaffs Continue
Either President Biden had some great strategy in mind when he spoke of regime changes in Russia or it just goes down as another one of his countless unhinged gaffs. In this case, I am going to go with another, albeit, very dangerous gaff.
Ironically, I totally agree that regime change is necessary in Russia. I also feel strongly that Putin
should be tried for war crimes even if it needs to be in absentia. The problem for the world is that Joe Biden is not like everybody. Whether he was telegraphing a time line for US Troop withdrawals from Afghanistan or commenting on the leadership and government of Russia, he needs to recognize that as President his words can have incredible consequences.
I hope one day our “friends” in the mainstream media will hold him accountable, though I won’t hold my breath. We must continue to report, in good faith, what we see and hear ourselves as it is clear the media will continue to shill on behalf of this administration.

Statement from New York State Conservative Party Chairman Gerard Kassar
Brooklyn, NY – “The Democratic Party got caught today being undemocratic. Its attempt to rig elections and to shut down political dissent in New York through outrageous gerrymandering was fortunately thwarted in New York State Supreme Court.
“Just a glance at these lines revealed them as ridiculously tainted. Now the Democrats must go back to the drawing board and have new lines ready in less than two weeks. We applaud the court’s decision, and urge them to keep an eye on every pencil line the Democrats draw over the next 11 days. They are not to be trusted.”
Under Gov. Hochul’s “less is more” 8,000 people on parole to be released by the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision by the end of this month.
As a New York taxpayer, do you think this $840M bill we have just been handed is a good use of our hard-earned tax dollars? I can’t help but wonder how many police, fire, first-responders could be hired, or a reasonable increase to those who care for our disabled and elderly this $840M could help? (And how much prevailing wages added to the total sum.) Buffalo Bills secure deal for $1.4B stadium thanks to record $850M from taxpayers

Statement from New York State Conservative Party Chairman Gerard Kassar on Federal Investigation of Lt. Gov. Brian Benjamin
Brooklyn, NY – “The Conservative Party and the GOP are running a candidate for Lt. Governor who until just a few weeks ago was making arrests. Governor Hochul’s Lt. Governor, Brian Benjamin, may soon be under arrest for illegal grants. Need we say more?
“The Conservative Party calls on Mrs. Hochul and Mr. Benjamin to explain what this is all about. New Yorkers deserve to know.”
As you know nominating petitions move the party’s rhetoric into action by placing our endorsed candidates for Congress & the State Legislature on the ballot. They also are necessary to organize the Party’s State and County Committees which are the basic units upon which political parties function.
It is important that all registered Conservative Party members sign a party petition. In some cases, a party member would have been at your door or made other arrangements to obtain your signature. With 155,000 enrolled party members many will be missed, so we need your help.
If you (a registered conservative) have not yet signed a nominating petition, please contact your local Conservative Party leader. If you need assistance locating the proper contact, call our headquarters at (718)-921-2158 and we will put you in touch with a local party representative.
Your signature on a Conservative petition is vital to our functioning as a party and time is running out.
Broken Windows Theory of Policing Returns to NYC
There are many parts of Mayor Adams’s agenda that the Conservative Party does not support. Fortunately in one key area, public safety, the Conservative Party and most city residents agree with the Mayor’s efforts.
The anti-crime unit, albeit with a new name, are making an effective comeback taking guns and criminals off the streets. Currently at half strength, the NYPD expects 400 or so men and women to fill these highly trained specialized units.
In addition, the Mayor has announced a crackdown on quality of life crimes like turnstile jumpers and shoplifters. This is a return of “Broken Windows Theory of Law Enforcement.” At its heart it works to stop small time offenses before those perpetrating them move onto committing bigger crimes.
The broken windows theory had been proven to work in New York City until Bill
de Blasio did away with this policing tactic. We hope the return of common sense policing will restore some law and order and give peace of mind to residents and guests of the city.
Conservative Party Presents J. Daniel Mahoney Award
Our Legislative Reception held in Albany this past Monday was hugely successful with a large, enthusiastic crowd cheering our two honorees, as well as the campaigns ahead of us. I want to thank everyone who came out to support the party and those who continue to fight alongside us as we move into this very important election season.
One thing was crystal clear, the Conservative Party, our incumbents, and our new candidates are expecting that our winning ways from 2021 will continue into November.
Our award winners, Broome County Chairman Aaron Martin, and Suffolk County Chairman Mike Torres, were a gigantic part of our 2021 success. We were very pleased to honor them and look forward to working together to deliver more results this November.
You really have no choice about paying NYS taxes, you either pay them or be fined and if you continue to ignore paying them you could be charged with felony tax evasion. We are at the mercy of our elected officials on how our money is spent, which is why it is so very important to know the candidates you are voting for. This is just one example of what your money can/will be used for: Hochul seeks to pay $5 million in legal fees for ex-Cuomo staffers. Remember this when you vote in November.
China Closer to Dominating Southeast Asia. “China has fully militarized at least three of several islands it built in the disputed South China Sea, arming them with anti-ship and anti-aircraft missile systems, laser and jamming equipment, and fighter jets in an increasingly aggressive move that threatens all nations operating nearby… that buildup of weaponization is destabilizing to the region.” — US Admiral John C. Aquilino, Associated Press, March 21, 2022.
The First Amendment reads: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. It does not indicate that the press can censor news to fit its agenda. This needs to be investigated; Americans must demand the truth as to how it impacted voters.
Bail debate scrambles New York state budget talks. “… top lawmakers in the state Senate and Assembly remain publicly opposed to scaling the bail law back. Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins has said a “national Republican campaign of fear” has stoked opposition to the bail law over the last several years, unfairly and inaccurately linking the law to the rise in crime.”
“Sure, there are plenty of budget priorities heading into the final two weeks of negotiations in Albany. But are any of them more personal for Gov. Kathy Hochul than getting a deal for a new stadium for her beloved Buffalo Bills?” Another Buffalo Billion — this time, for the Bills?
Diversity Smokescreen/The notion that a demographically representative college class makes for better education is a pretext for the real proposition: that certain people deserve reparations.
Andrew C. McCarthy notes that Ketanji Brown Jackson is a progressive and progressive judges tend to be light sentencers in his column: Ho-Hum: The Cases Senator Hawley Cites Show Judge Jackson Is an Unremarkable Sentencer in Child-Porn Cases. His column is also a good reminder that our Commander-in-Chief’s second most long-lasting and essential role is the nomination of Supreme Court Justices. Elections have consequences.
Miranda Divine writes in today’s NY Post: White House ignores its Hunter problem. “The refusal of the Times and the rest of the media to cover this story amounted to election interference.”
