This is written by the democratic candidate (who won the June 23 Primary) for the 25^th State Senate District, who will win on Nov. 3, 2020 because, unfortunately, the district is so democrat heavy, it is understandable that no one stepped up to the plate to run on the Republican or Conservative Lines. This is a big part of the problem that New Yorkers face.  Why is this policy a problem?  Read this.   He won the Democratic primary with 33,510 votes (the runner up had 20,229 and the total number of votes cast in the primary was 61,118.)  There are 257,080 registered voters in the district and quite frankly, the 33,510 votes that drove him to victory on June 23 are the ones who decided who would represent the 351,552 people who live in the district.  As the NY Post editorial above states:  Wake up, New York – or the Democratic socialists really will take over.

Today’s Riots Comparable to ‘Late Stage’ Violence of ’60s, ’70s, however, we survived and revived the American spirit then; and we can again, despite the current bleak outlook.  Our voices must be heard on election day; part of the difference between then and now is that many of the elected officials of today are the some of those who were part of the violence of the ‘60s and ‘70s who look the other way, many are professors in our colleges who have revised history to their liking and far too many do not take the time to vote.  Make your voice heard on November 3, 2020.   Wake up, New York – or the Democratic socialists really will take over.

The Emperor keeps up his critical assessment of President.  Governor Cuomo likes to say he deals with facts, yet he doesn’t hesitate to attack President Trump based on anonymous statements reported in The Atlantic.  In fact, since the Atlantic’s article sourced anonymous statements, I would be more inclined to believe Ambassador John Bolton, as we all know, not a fan of President Trump, but also known to be forthright, when he says the article was “simply false.”   And it wasn’t only ambassador Bolton that rallied to his defense.  Here is Conrad Black’s opinion in The Sun.   Bobby Henline, is a wounded war vet, who slammed the Left for using his photo to promote the tabloid rumor.

The CDC has a page dedicated to coping with stress as pandemics can be stressful.  They are not the only organization writing about the side effects of how a pandemic that is certainly stressful can comprise one’s mental health.  I am being sincere in saying that I believe the stress of being Governor (and making a major error in judgement in allowing COVID-19 patients to return to nursing homes) has taken its toll on Andrew Cuomo.  His adherence to blaming President Trump for not stopping the “European virus” and continuous blaming President Trump for New York’s high death rate, may very well be signs that the stress of being governor, with complete control for decisions being made, is taking its toll.  Would a person who is not under duress actually say that President Trump is “‘actively trying to kill New York City”  or that Trump Caused the COVID Outbreak in New York.  Take a deep breath, Governor, and think twice before you lob the next volley.

The other Democrat who wields power and never lets us forget that fact is Andrew Cuomo.  The NY Post exposed the Emperor’s extreme dislike for President Trump by reporting Cuomo’s hastily called presser upon learning that President Trump is looking to pull federal funds from lawless cities.  Governor Cuomo’s vitriol was unbecoming at the very least.  The thing that powerful democrats have in common is that they forget that almost everything they say or do is recorded, so I thoroughly enjoyed when the news reported on Governor Cuomo’s slip into his Captain Queeg mode, they played the clips of his praising President Trump for all his help in the beginning of the pandemic.  President Trump and Governor Cuomo, two very strong personalities from Queens, won’t let this latest disagreement end until there is a clear winner.  Since it is about safety and our money, we all have a stake in who wins, and voting in person on November 3, will help decide who is right.  Oh my, Gov. Cuomo just upped the ante by challenging President Trump’s election day prediction.  (Wow, and I had written the previous sentence before I saw Cuomo’s latest volley.)

Did you watch the RNC Convention last night?  I thought it was upbeat and hopeful, then I looked at the newspapers today and asked myself, what were they watching?  Last weeks, DNC Convention?  The headlines were written from those living in the Twilight Zone.  From Michael Cohen, who writes for the Boston Globe:  What I learned on the first night of the RNC; It was a night full of hosannas to Trump and willful lying about his four years in office.  From CNN:  Trump’s convention offers misleading portrait of his presidency.  From the NYT:  Donald Trump Jr. and Nikki Haley Attack Biden and Praise the President and this Nominating Trump, Republicans Rewrite His Record.  From the Chicago Tribune:  Analysis: 5 key takeaways from the first night of the RNC, including Trump showing he will be an omnipresent convention presence. From Forbes:  Five of The Biggest Falsehoods Of The First Night Of The Republican Convention.  From The Hill:  The Memo: Fear overshadows hope at GOP convention’s first night.  Those are just a few, and by no means the worst of what the mainstream media is reporting.  The problem is, far too many people only read headlines, do not watch the speeches for themselves and will never understand how uplifting the first night of the RNC Convention really was.  Watch it for yourself, in case you missed it last night and want to see for yourself how anti-Trump the mainstream media is.
