America celebrated her 241st birthday yesterday while Americans enjoyed the day with family and friends.  Today our hearts are heavy with the news that another member of NY’s Finest was assassinated while in her police patrol car.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Police Officer  Miosotis Familia.  

Meanwhile, Manhattan’s DA has a new experiment in unpolicing that will most likely backfire.  

It wasn’t enough to know that the Puerto Rican Day Parade honored a terrorist, now we learn that your money help pay for the float he rode in!
