Daily Update

Today we have more followup on getting the rest of the story.  Who is Khizr Khan?  Of course he is a grieving father — the loss of a child leaves a wound so deep that time cannot heal it — but is he also a man with an agenda helping immigrants to buy their way into the United States?  Is he using the freedoms granted us in our US Constitution to promote his belief that “to Muslims, the Quran being the very word of God, it is the absolute authority from which springs the very conception of legality and every legal obligation.”  Donald J. Trump made a grave error in what he said, but knowing more helps us understand that Mr. Khan’s attack on Mr. Trump was more politically motivated than this grieving father wants you to know.  Captain Humayun Khan gave his life in the service of his country and let us not forget his sacrifice…may he rest in peace with all of our gratitude for helping to keep freedom and our way of life strong.  Gov. Mike Pence responds.

Daily Update

Just a quick reminder on how important it is to go beyond the headlines.  Paul Harvey used to remind us of the “rest of the story” and for your information here is the rest of the story on what Donald Trump said to the parents of hero Captain Humayun Khan.  The media and those who want to see Donald Trump destroyed are all to quick to react to partial statements.

Likewise, few will report on the glaring lies Hillary said on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace.  While Wallace did his best…Hillary was in full spin mode. Listen and watch the cunning use of words as she answers Chris Wallace.   “I don’t hold any ill feeling for someone who in that moment may not fully recall everything that was or wasn’t said.”  Seriously?  Patricia Smith should be grateful you don’t hold any “Ill feeling.”  Then ask yourself what it would be like if she became number 45?  Remember what FBI Director James Comey said to Congressman Trey Gowdy. Always get the rest of the story and know who you are voting for.  You know Hillary’s interview with Chris Wallace was pure fantasy spin when even the fact checker at the Washington Post gives it 4 “Pinocchios.”

Weekly Wrap-Up

Hillary Clinton is now the Democrats’ presidential nominee, but her acceptance speech was little more than an uninspired liberal wish list. Or, as John Podhoretz says, “Hillary blew it.”

Do you want to listen to Hillary Clinton for four years?” That’s what the Washington Examiner asks of voters. My answer is a resounding “no.”

Hillary says this election is “a moment of reckoning” – I think we can all agree on that – but Charles Krauthammer notes that there’s no substance when it comes to the Clinton campaign.
“She seeks the office because, well, it’s the next — the final — step on the ladder,” he states.

Hillary certainly can’t run on her Senate accomplishments (well, accomplishment is more like it) – and the Democrats’ claims that she saved millions of lives doesn’t stand up to scrutiny.

Republican Donald Trump had quite a bit to say during Hillary’s speech, as I’m sure you can imagine. He let loose with a series of blistering tweets that brought a dose of reality to the Democrats’ convention.

One of my favorites was: “No one has worse judgement than Hillary Clinton — corruption and devastation follows her wherever she goes.” There are plenty more – which of Trump’s comments was your favorite? That’s the first question in our new Weekly Poll.

For a sweeping indictment of Hillary Clinton and all the corruption she represents, I urge you to check out the documentary “Clinton Cash,” which you can watch free at Breitbart.com.

As a voters, what do you think is the most important reason to watch a film like “Clinton Cash?” That’s the second question in this week’s poll – I know that Conservative Party friends and supporters stay informed, so I’m interested to see what you have to say.

In his Wednesday night speech, President Obama painted a far rosier picture than most U.S. voters see – leading Investor’s Business Daily to ask Americans, “Are you better off than you were seven years ago?

I think that’s a great inspiration for the third Poll question this week, with a slightly different spin: Just how much worse off is our nation, in your opinion, after seven years of Obama?

News like this is very much not what Hillary and the Democrats want to hear as they fight to replace “Obamanomics” with an exact replica, “Hillarynomics.”

There’s bad news just for liberals, too: As Democrats have no established themselves as “the party of safe socialism,” according to Rich Lowry – but Bernie Sanders’ supporters aren’t buying it, and neither are millennials, it seems.

Have a great weekend!

Daily Update

Tonight is the night Hillary Clinton accepts the manipulated nomination to become the presidential nominee of the Democratic Party.  According to The Hill, Hillary will cast the election as a “moment of reckoning.”  Hillary and her cronies have done their best to reinvent her, yet again, as a dedicated public servant only interested in the well beings of others.  Here is a more accurate picture of the woman who was too busy worrying about what the rescuers of our citizens in Benghazi would wear instead of actually rescuing them.  Here is what Dr. Sebastian Gorka thinks of Hillary’s foreign policy record.

The Daily Caller has an exclusive that the IRS is investigation the Clinton Foundation…we want to know why since the Obama Administration likes to sweep everything under the rug to make it go away.

Michael Goodwin sums up last night’s DNC convention with this little tidbit about Hillary “But for one night, she was a saint. Her husband said so.”  Most of Goodwin’s column is great, however, I disagree with his statement that the “Democratic Party is not the same party it was a generation ago, and it’s definitely not Bill Clinton’s party anymore.”  Bill and Hillary were leftist when they entered the White House.  Hillary lobbied for government run health care, Bill’s agenda was forced to change when the Republicans stood strong in 1994.  Bill adapted to the changes sought and took credit, but neither ever changed their core beliefs; both are quite comfortable with today’s Democratic Party.  Sensible democrats are not, they become conservatives or republicans.   Americans are smart and understand how the Clinton’s are chameleons adapting to the current climate to consolidate personal power.

Tammy Bruce gives us her take on the DNC Convention so far.  It ends with this “Recently, Hillary said if elected she’d put Bill Clinton in charge of the economy and during Sunday’s “60 Minutes” interview, she said as president she’d be calling Mr. Obama for his advice. In other words, even Hillary doesn’t think she can be president. It’s the one thing we can trust her on.”

Daily Update

How many times do we have to meet a “new” Hillary Clinton.

Hillary has bigger problems that reinventing herself as the email scandal is proving.  The Daily Signal has more on the newest email problems.  The Hill is reporting that “the fixer” is ready to acknowledge that, “Yes, there were maybe some bad things that happened but now let’s move on,” doing what democrats do best:  sweep problems under the rug until the press moves on.

It may not be that easy to “just move on” since Hillary’s America cracks the top 10 at the box office.  (To watch the trailer click on Hillary’s America).)

Hillary’s VP candidate – Tim Kain – promises a bill to legalize illegal immigrants in “first 100 days”, of course he would have to win to do that.  The DNC and prime time speakers avoid mentions of the real problems — terrorism and ISIS.

Courtney O’Brien sums up last night at the DNC with a few paragraphs…most of the media misses the irony in some many of the speeches.  Ms. O’Brien also tells us that viewers are quick to remind Mrs. Obama that it isn’t true that Hillary never quits on anything with one word:  Benghazi

Daily Update

The Democratic National Convention is off to a rocky start, as another email scandal shatters Hillary’s flawless coronation.  Wasserman-Schultz is out and Donna Brazile is in.  But Brazile is also implicated in the hacked email.  Leave it to the Democrats, especially Hillary,  to keep tapping someone with the same problems.  You know it is really bad when the medial cannot keep it under wraps just before the convention.

Weekly Wrap-Up

Donald Trump is officially the Republican presidential nominee, leading the party with a rousing acceptance speech that could mark the start of an American revival.

According to the New York Post, Trump faced his biggest challenge on Thursday night – and he nailed it.

Rather than link to various articles this week, I have pulled together what I believe are some of the most powerful statements from Donald Trump’s acceptance speech. I found his words to be inspiring and energizing. The full text is here. To me, the highlights include:

  • “Every day I wake up determined to deliver a better life for the people all across this nation that have been ignored, neglected and abandoned… people who work hard but no longer have a voice. I am your voice.”

  • “The problems we face now — poverty and violence at home, war and destruction abroad — will last only as long as we continue relying on the same politicians who created them. A change in leadership is required to change these outcomes.”

  • “History is watching us now. It’s waiting to see if we will rise to the occasion, and if we will show the whole world that America is still free and independent and strong.”

  • “The irresponsible rhetoric of our President, who has used the pulpit of the presidency to divide us by race and color, has made America a more dangerous environment for everyone.”

  • “This is the legacy of Hillary Clinton: death, destruction and weakness. But Hillary Clinton’s legacy does not have to be America’s legacy.”

  • “Big business, elite media and major donors are lining up behind the campaign of my opponent because they know she will keep our rigged system in place… She is their puppet, and they pull the strings.”

  • “My opponent asks her supporters to recite a three-word loyalty pledge. It reads: ‘I’m With Her.’ I choose to recite a different pledge. My pledge reads: ‘I’m with you – the American people.'”

  • “The attacks on our police, and the terrorism in our cities, threaten our very way of life. Any politician who does not grasp this danger is not fit to lead our country.”

  • “We must immediately suspend immigration from any nation that has been compromised by terrorism until such time as proven vetting mechanisms have been put in place.”

  • “We are going to build a great border wall to stop illegal immigration, to stop the gangs and the violence, and to stop the drugs from pouring into our communities.”

Which of these statements was your favorite part of Donald Trump’s speech? That’s the first question in our new Weekly Poll – I have my personal favorite, and I’m looking forward to seeing if you and others agree!

I have two more poll questions for you this week, centered on the GOP convention: Which of the other speeches at the Republican Convention was your favorite? There are plenty to choose from, including speeches from the Trump family, Vice-President nominee Mike Pence, and many others.

And finally, after the Republican National Convention, are you more excited about voting for Donald Trump for President?

I know I am. Have a great weekend!

Daily Update

Dinesh D’Souza’s forthcoming full-length film, Hillary’s America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party, will premiere in theaters nationwide on July 22nd.  The film exposes the secret history of the Democratic Party and the true motivations of Hillary Clinton. More specifically, it details how Democrats have been the party of more government control, oppression, and segregation, starting with Andrew Jackson and culminating in Hillary Clinton. It also brings to light the shady history of Bill and Hillary Clinton, with emphasis on the Clinton Foundation, which they have used as a cover to line their pockets with hundreds of millions of dollars. This highly anticipated documentary will serve as a timely and massive blow to Hillary Clinton as she looks to take control of the White House. Dinesh’s first documentary, 2016: Obama’s America, was the 2nd highest grossing political documentary of all time, and we’re hoping Hillary’s America does even better!  With the vacant seat in the Supreme Court, increased threats from ISIS, North Korea, Iran, Russia and China; and government spending that has grown out of control, I don’t need to remind you how terrible Hillary Clinton would be for America. But we must relay this message to the American people and expose, not just the deceit of Hillary, but of Democrat elites. We hope you’ll encourage your friends, family, and neighbors to go watch this controversial movie, that Hillary Clinton does not want you to see. Visit the official movie website and pre-order tickets, here:

The story of the night should be Eric Trump’s speech and the home run by VP candidate Mike Pence.  If you missed them, you can watch the video hereKyle Smith states that Mike Pence proves you can be both kind and ruthless in rousing speech.  Unfortunately, the media is focused on Ted Cruz who as the California Political Review correctly points out – Ted Cruz is no Ronald Reagan at GOP Convention.  Here is Charles Hurt’s assessment of the Cruz implosion.  It really is too bad that a man who is a true constitutionalist may have done permanent damage to himself.
