The Economy

The unprecedented economic expansion initiated by the low tax polices of President Ronald Reagan continue today because of the tax reduction initiatives of the Bush Administration. We continue to support a low tax agenda and we would like to see the elimination of the “death tax” and the introduction of a flat tax. Our greatest concern is the continuous growth of the federal government. Massive spending bills replete with pork barrel provisions continue to be passed into law. This misuse of our tax dollars is a drag on our economic system and should be stopped. We support the end of taxpayer subsidies to industries that have political clout. Government should not engage in the process of propping up private industry. We support free trade.
