If you can make copies to leave in your businesses, we would appreciate it. Please return as many as you can, as soon as you can, so we can deliver them to Albany prior to the budget vote.
"We the taxpaying public, say "Absolutely No Increases this year, in fact with the budget deficit, there must be a DECREASE in spending."

How about we pass that Medical Marijuana bill?
Please support the medical marijuana bill that was proposed by New York State Assemblyman Richard Gottfried. Of the 14 states that have currently approved medical use, with New Jersey being the closest one, there have not been any major issues attributed to this legalization. If we don't allow medical use, we are supporting the illegal sales and importation of medical marijuana from New Jersey, because NYC residents can get the product cheaper there. We are supporting crime that can be prevented. By supporting this bill and allowing NY to become the 15th medical marijuana state, we can make a change towards the future of medicine and end this absurd prohibition. It has been clinically proven that Marijuana can help numerous symptoms of chronic illnesses, and it's a natural remedy, being much safer than most prescription drugs available today. Marijuana is not physically addicting, and can be used safely without causing many harmful side effects that so many other medicines do. I guarantee that many New Yorker's are in support of this bill, and if the state Department of Health is going to control and regulate the medical use of Marijuana, there shouldn't be any problems associated.
Just a few thoughts from a resident in Niagara Falls, NY. What good is our state government if they're not in favor of the people's wants and needs, the general basis that this country was built upon. Thank you for taking the time to read this, i like to feel that my voice is heard, and I'd like to help support a much needed change for the residents of NY!
Government should never serve the public's "wants," and should serve only those extremely limited needs which cannot be met by they as individuals and the most local of governing bodies.
In regard to the legalization of marijuana, I would suggest for consideration that we as a society have proven million times over that we cannot handle the use of alcohol as an intoxicant. Why would we wish to place another intoxicant which would be equally abused and misused into the hands of the irresponsible.
