Education

Attempts to nationalize our nation's educational system are setting a dangerous precedent and should come to an end. Local tax dollars pay for primary and secondary schools and local officials in conjunction with parents should be allowed to set educational policies. The first step in reducing Washington's role in education should be the abolition of the Federal Department of Education.
